Holy Ship! has released a statement following growing concerns about safety at the Holy Ship! Wrecked destination music festival set for Hard Rock Hotel Punta Cana on January 22-26, 2020.
Over the past few months, news mass illnesses and deaths have surfaced out the Dominican Republic. According to multiple reports, at least 11 Americans have passed away while visiting the island over the past year. Reported illnesses are into the 100s, including a recent case where 54 people fell sick on a group trip.
The FBI is investigating some these instances, but surprisingly, nothing seems to be out the ordinary. Experts are chalking up most these cases to people taking more risks while on vacation.
Still, with Holy Ship Wrecked on the horizon, organizers have formulated a response to keep concerns at bay. The festival’s safety standards are outlined in a new statement, along with safety measures that will be taken by staff.
A seasoned event staff will be present 24 hours a day during Holy Ship! Wrecked, including an experienced U.S. safety & medical team that will be patrolling the concert areas, public areas, lobbies, and resort grounds. You can easily identify them by their red shirts.
In addition, products being sold on site will have to adhere to a proper code.
All liquor bottles, wine or beer that enters the hotel are required to have the proper codes, seals and stamps, and these laws are enforced by the ficial authorities.
