Insomniac's New "Psychedelic" Festival Has Already Been Cancelled

Some issues have been by no means meant to be, like Insomniac‘s new psytrance, home and techno competition. Called Sacred Valley, the competition was set to happen subsequent weekend on the Los Coyotes Indian Reservation in Southern California. Unfortunately, Insomniac has cancelled the competition solely.

Sacred Valley introduced the information at the moment with social media posts and a splash web page on the occasion’s web site. Organizers cancelled the competition “because of unexpected circumstances” and never with the ability to “ship the expertise they] had envisioned.” Refunds will probably be issued inside 5 to seven enterprise days, and it’s unknown whether or not the competition will ever return.

The lineup would’ve included everybody from Tensnake to DJ Three, Astrix to Shpongle and Christian Smith to Kevin Saunderson. The obscure cancellation description will seemingly encourage some conspiracy theories, however the lineup’s area of interest ferings might have contributed to its downfall. Plus, the competition solely introduced and commenced promoting tickets in July. We respect Insomniacc for attempting, and hope to see extra psytrance and home and techno acts booked at occasions like EDC and the Wonderland festivals.

RIP Sacred Valley. We hardly knew ye. Check out the complete announcement beneath:
