Kelly Lee Owens has announced her fourth album, ‘Dreamstate’.
'Dreamstate' will be released on 18th October via a brand new Dirty Hit imprint called dh2, which will be run by The 1975's George Daniel.
The record is described as being “born from the experience of inner evolution... It’s the sound of a person letting loose and letting go while encouraging everyone else to do the same.” It will also feature collaborative producer-writer credits from Bicep, The Chemical Brothers' Tom Rowlands and George Daniel.
Alongside the album announcement, Owens has released its first single, 'Love You Got', a high-energy techno and pop-fused anthem featuring her own vocals. "'Love You Got' was born out of the curiosity of discovering my own inner euphoria - balancing the dark and the light within myself to find ultimate bliss in connection with others,” she said of the track.
Last year, Owens launched a unisex perfume called Scent08 with Hæckels. Earlier this month she played a free party with Caribou. Owens will also DJ the dh2 launch party at Brixton’s Phonox this tonight (11th July) alongside George Daniel, Oscar Farrell and TimFromTheHouse. You can find more info about that here.
