Combining the warmth of classic analogue sound with the versatility of digital technology, the multi/poly looks like a formidable addition to the already well-revered range of Korg synths.
The multi/poly combines four oscillators per Program, with cutting-edge modulation capabilities. Whether using Classic, Digital, or Waveshaper oscillators, users can create everything from warm, rich textures to bold, experimental tones. The innovative virtual voice card technology adds subtle variations to each voice, replicating the character of classic analogue hardware and making each note come to life.
With 60 voices of polyphony and extensive modulation options, the multi/poly allows musicians to explore an endless array of sonic possibilities. It’s built for deep, immersive sound exploration.
multi/poly’s structure allows you to build four Layers, each containing a separate Program. This adds an entirely new dimension of sonic complexity, as you can layer up to four Programs simultaneously in a Performance.
These can be used to create massive, multi-layered sounds or creative splits and velocity-triggered variations. Each Program features its own set of oscillators, filters, envelopes, LFOs, and effects, allowing you to craft evolving performances that change with every key press.
Inspired by the original Mono/Poly’s paraphonic mode, the Layer Rotate feature allows you to cycle through these four Programs with each key press, ensuring dynamic, ever-changing performances.
Classic design meets modern innovation
Fans of the Mono/Poly will enjoy the nod to it’s heritage with the solid aluminium top panel and wooden side panels. The modern blue-on-black colour scheme ensures it stands out in any setup be it stage, studio, and beyond.
Key multi/poly features:
- Virtual voice card technology adds organic, natural variation to each voice.
- Four oscillators per Program for a wide range of complex tones.
- Next-generation analogue modelling technology for unparalleled sonic realism.
- Dual modelled filters, inspired by legendary Korg synthesizers.
- Kaoss Physics and Motion Sequencing 2.0 for advanced modulation control.
- 37-key semi-weighted keyboard with velocity- and release velocity-sensitivity.
