LANDR has released a new iOS and Android app that combines AI mastering, distribution and collaboration tools.
The new app, from the company best known for its innovations in AI mastering, is split into four parts. The Library is for all tracks, sounds and demos uploaded to LANDR. Messages is used to communicate with collaborators and share audio files from the Library with them, as well as audio, video and photos stored on the iOS/Android device.
The Sessions tab lets users start a new video stream with collaborators and hear high-quality audio directly from their DAW to give feedback in real time. Finally, the Releases tab allows users to control and schedule releases and distribution through up to 150 streaming platforms including Spotify, TIDAL, Amazon Music and more. Users keep 100% of the royalties from music released through LANDR.
The well-known Mastering tool is available from the Library section, offering the same features as the website and its plug-in version, with options for Low, Medium and High loudness, and Warm, Balanced and Open frequency response. Once a master is finished and the track is released, users can share the music directly from the app.
