George FitzGerald – Burns (Lane 8 Remix)
Lane 8 is returning to Anjunadeep with two tasty remixes. ‘Burns‘ by George Fitzgerald originally released on Double Six Records but the American Deep House maestro is giving the track a two part makeover. With both a “Morning” and a “Club” remix, Lane 8 is about to make the world see this track in a completely new light.
The first track on the release is the Club Mix and it delivers all the deep house goodness Lane 8 is known for. After a seriously moody section the track drops out to a melodic reverb heavy breakdown. Incorporating lyrics from the the original as well as continuously employing vocal stabs that sound almost link chanting monks gives the song an incredibly soulful personality.
The Morning Remix ‘Burns’ is just as deep and feelsy. However, Lane 8 gives it a flawless chill out vibe perfect for a sunrise set at the beach. Utilizing a st piano line and minimal production stens the touch the song and gives it a passionate, nostalgic overtone.
