LEViT∆TE Goes Big On New "Fatalism" EP

I often take note of tracks and releases that come out on Thursdays and Fridays, so I’m not stunned this launch from LEViT∆TE went underneath my radar, because it launched final Saturday. But as quickly as I discovered it, I’ve had it on repeat. Fatalism is all of the sound design you need and extra, wrapped in a pleasant midtempo bow.

Fatalism is LEViT∆TE at his best, drawing inspiration from contemporaries like G Jones, Eprom, or Tsuruda. You can hear it clearly within the snares in “In This City,” or the beat rhythm “Pitchblaque” — the wild and frenetic sound design doesn’t overpower the precise power the synths and melody, which is a big concern while you’re going this difficult.

The type built-in interlude in “Wasting Your Breath” is exquisitely lovely, particularly main into the extra distorted drop within the tune.

With this EP, LEViT∆TE simply locations himself on the similar degree, a minimum of production-wise, as some probably the most revered DJs in that style proper now. Listen to Fatalism under.
