Nothing warms you up on a chilly Monday morning like a new Four Tet remix, and I can safely say that his latest rework Daniel Avery’s Quick Eternity is as warm as it gets.
In true Four Tet fashion, he rebuilds the original as an ethereal, atmospheric journey a track bearing this extra-terrestrial tone, courtesy the alien-like instrumental structure. Four Tet manages to exude a sense simplicity in his remixes – much the same with his recent edit BICEP’s Opal – that can only be managed by a producer his skill level. The way in which the instrumentals intertwine effortlessly as the track progressively builds is truly mesmerising.
