The world has been ready for brand new Madeon music because the French producer dropped his debut album Adventure in 2015. Aside from “Shelter” with Porter Robinson, his output has been scant. He posted about transferring to LA and dealing on his subsequent album, however there’s been nothing about that. Instead, the most recent piece music we get from Madeon is a co-produced single with Lido for rapper Ric Wilson, “No Hands.”
Ric got here up within the now legendary YCA (Young Chicago Authors), the identical poetry program that helped launch the likes Noname, Saba, Jamila Woods, Chance The Rapper, Vic Mensa, Mick Jenkins, and plenty of others. He’s translated that right into a music profession that’s gotten the eye notable music publications like , , and … and apparently Madeon and Lido.
“Madeon’s a great good friend and this isn’t the final you’ll hear from us,” says Wilson. “This music is for everybody that I’ve impressed and has been an inspiration to me. We younger and we out right here and we bought this. I LOVE YALL.”
Admittedly, the only sounds much more Lido than Madeon with the whimsical synths and horns. But to get new music from Madeon, even on this type, is a promise extra to come back. Hopefully 2019 is the 12 months we see some new authentic Madeon productions, however till then, take a look at “No Hands” by Ric Wilson under.
