Yesterday, we shared the news that Major Lazer had announced “” on Twitter with teasers tracks from the likes Burna Boy, Babes Wodumo & Taranchyla, Kizz Daniel & Kranium, and Raye & Mr Eazi.
Today, those tracks have arrived… but not quite in the way that we expected.
Major Lazer has dropped a 17-track mixtape with all the promised tracks and more, all mixed together into one 30-minute album guaranteed to start a party. Throughout the month, we’ll be getting full versions all the tracks premiered in the new mixtape, as well.
Afrobeats shines a light on all the African producers and musicians from whom Major Lazer derive a lot their influence, and it’s amazing to see them supporting these artists and giving them the global platform they deserve.
