Michael Jackson's "Thriller" Is No Longer The #1 Selling Album Of All Time

The Eagles are now certified 38-times platinum for their most famous record, as Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975 becomes the best-selling album all time in the U.S.

“Take It Easy,” “Witchy Woman,” “Desperado,” and “Take It to the Limit” are just some the hits housed on this 10-track record. The album debuted at number four on the Billboard 200 and reached number one the following week, and has been played out by rock fans ever since.

The band’s singer and drummer Don Henley just issued a statement following the headlines: “We are grateful for our families, our management, our crew, the people at radio and, most all, the loyal fans who have stuck with us through the ups and downs 46 years. It’s been quite a ride.”

With this the country rockers surpass another legend, Michael Jackson, who was holding on to the title with his 33-times platinum record Thriller.

Take it to the limit one more time…
