Moog teases new synth during Super Bowl halftime show

“Did you catch the mystery synth in Usher’s Super Bowl halftime show?” Huang said in the post, which you can see below. “Well... I’ve got it in my studio now. Thanks @moogsynthesizers for giving me some early play time with it. Excited to share more when it launches — I think people are gonna flip over this!”

After the Super Bowl halftime show, keen Moog fans took to Facebook to zoom in and crop images for a better view. The synth looks a lot like the Roland Jupiter-X, has white end cheeks, and looks slightly smaller than the flagship poly Moog One. Whatever the name, specs or price, we’ll have more news on the new Moog synth as soon as they drop.

Moog Music was acquired by music tech conglomerate inMusic last June, and then cut more than half of its manufacturing jobs in September.
