There are a lot events to choose from on Halloween, probably too many at this point. This year, a fresh festival will return for its second year — and while it doesn’t have the headliner power that Something Wicked or Escape: Pyscho Circus features, it definitely has its own vibe.
Nightfall Festival returns to The Parker Plantation for its second year, kicking f Friday, November 1st and running through Sunday, November 3rd. The three-day camping festival located in Denton, TX will host some bass, experimental & lo-fi’s most promising acts. Featuring three haunted attractions and headlining performances from the likes Marauda, Mad Zach, Moody Good, Dimond Saints, Oolacile, Truth, the US debut DirtySnatcha and more, Nightfall is the perfect Halloween weekend event for music and horror fans alike.
Nightfall manages to keep a grassroots vibe by putting camping in close proximity to the grounds and a stacking a lineup boasting impressive collective takeovers. Almost the entirety Nightfall’s headline tier has never played in the Dallas market before, making the festival the first to introduce these budding artists to the southern market. Featuring curated takeovers from the Spicy Bois, Truth’s label Deep, Dark, and Dangerous, and a silent disco in The Haunted Forest featuring crews from promotional teams around the state Texas like Nocturnal Waves (Dallas), Baked Up (Austin), Virtuosos (Houston), and more. Other notable acts include DREVM, Jinco b2b Lucchii, Porn & Chicken, Vaski, Lemondoza, Southgate., and more.
