Noods Radio has announced a new artist development programme called Bloom.
The initiative will offer emerging musicians in South-West England and South Wales the opportunity to refine their skills through masterclasses, mentoring, studio time, music videos, press photos, live performances, and guest radio shows.
Applications are currently open to producers, bands, instrumentalists, solo artists and composers.
Spanning 10 months, the programme will also provide successful applicants with guidance on topics such as branding, self-marketing as an artist, and applying for funding.
Monthly one-on-one mentoring sessions with established artists who have released music on labels such as Ninja Tune, AD93, and Fabric Records will also be provided.
Candidates must meet the criteria to apply, which includes having an active musical practice and being able to dedicate a minimum of 20 hours per month throughout the programme.
The scheme will continue to accept applications until 25th February. For more information, visit here.
Back in 2021, Noods Radio collaborated with Saffron to launch a radio production and broadcasting course. The initiative aimed to create a safe space for women, non-binary individuals, and people in gender minorities based in Bristol to develop their skills.
