Paul van Dyk has released a special 30th anniversary double-vinyl edition of his iconic track 'For An Angel'.
The original version of the 1994 trance anthem is not included, but the famous 'E-Werk Club Mix' is now packaged with new remixes by Öwnboss, Julian Jeweil, LOUT and Kolonie, as well as previously released edits by Activa, Miika Kuisma and Filo & Peri. The limited-edition pressing is out now.
'For An Angel' was initially released on the German DJ's debut studio album, '45 RPM'. "'For An Angel' is so special to me because it represents an incredible time for dance music and wonderful personal memories", van Dyk said in a press statement. "There was this fresh enthusiasm for dance music as it spread worldwide and paved the way for where it is today. The song is as important to me now as it was when I first made it, and it’s a staple in all my sets. The reaction from the fans when the song starts playing brings me so much joy."
This year, van Dyk has released the 'Shine Together Now' single, to complement his fifth Shine Ibiza residency, and 'Love Is Enough' with trance vocalist Sue McLaren.
