Easily one the most-talked about releases the past weekend, at least within the producer community, was PEEKABOO’s newest EP, Impossible, out now on Deadbeats.
It seemed like I couldn’t scroll my timeline on Twitter at all this weekend without someone mentioning this EP. Spanning four tracks, Impossible runs the gamut on bass genres, going from the heavier, darker stuff on “Impossible” and “Nut Case” to a housier sound on “Rock The House,” and finally some glitchy dubstep on “Smack.” Every track is an absolute flex.
Looking ahead, PEEKABOO is showing no signs slowing down. With a packed year in front him, vaults unreleased music, and a horde passionate fans known as the “Boo Crew,” he’s set to continue on his meteoric rise. Catch him next year on his headline Impossible Tour.
