Popeyes‘ sold out chicken sandwich is the hottest thing since sliced bread and Diplo has the mother lode.
The DJ/producer was blessed with a jet plane full these sold out chicken sandwiches — or at least two big bags worth. In the Instagram post below, Diplo shares that moment when he posed himself gloriously on a Popeyes jet just outside Burning Man, sandwiches in hand.
The thing about these sandwiches — they’re a very hot commodity. The fast food chain’s new chicken sandwich enticed a full-on war with Chick-fil-A and sold out within days.
So where does Diplo fit in? Apparently they express delivered the premium chicken sandwiches after he voiced his concern about wanting to try them out for himself.
“Popeye’s heard I wanted to try their sandwich so they sent me some in a jet….” Diplo says in the caption below.
“Wendy’s your move.”
