Justin Jay debuts on London label Childsplay this month with the ‘yucky’ EP.
The Los Angeles DJ and producer follows releases for the likes of Dirtybird, Suara and his own Fantastic Voyage with a gnarly six-tracker on the burgeoning London imprint. Joining the label’s catalogue of hyperactive, hyper-colourful club sounds, ‘yucky’ bursts with scuzzy techno and electro cuts, incendiary acid leads and infectious vocal samples. You can hear the raucous ‘ugh (do it)’, made alongside fellow producer Danny Goliger, below.
