In a very short stretch of time, Galway’s Kettama has blazed a trail to become one of Ireland’s most hotly tipped DJs. A young producer with a penchant from club-ready cuts that waste no time in kicking you in the face, his output to date has been picked up by revered names such as Mall Grab and Mella Dee.
Now, the house upsetter steps up with his debut EP proper on the emerging label by New York party starters Homage.
‘Bucklyn Bridge’ is a three shot assault of hard-hitting cuts, with the EP’s closer ‘Keep It Real’ finishing things off with a bang. A hefty gut punch of thick percussion and old-school samples, it showcases Kettama as someone who, if you don’t know him yet, you best believe you will soon.
