Demi Riquísimo’s Semi Delicious label turns three this month, and is celebrating with the release of a new V/A 12” EP. Hear Bristol DJ and producer Manami’s contribution, ‘Lizard Den’, below.
Alongside Manami, tracks on the EP come from Manuel Darquart, Inner Zone and Riquísimo himself. Ranging from proggy psychedelic techno and euphoric breaks into italo and balearic house, the thread that links these four dancefloor stompers is one that’s dipped in acid. Slippery, squelching basslines swerve around these tracks, with more than enough variety to make the EP a no-brainer for anyone’s record bag. Early support for the release has already come from the likes of HAAi, TSHA, Absolute, Erol Alkin, SYREETA, Donald's House, Joe Godard and more, so you know you’re onto a winner.
Manami’s ‘Lizard Den’ follows her appearance on Remotif’s recent compilation for the International Rescue Committee as well as a string of recent support slots with Bicep, and maintains the same irresistibly thumping, ravey trajectory she’s been building her name with in the past few years.
The vinyl-only release will land on 22nd April. Pre-order it here.
