Bristol-based DJ and producer Remotif has curated a new charity compilation in aid of the International Rescue Committee, a humanitarian aid organisation working to help provide food, cash and aid to resettling Afghan refugees.
Titled ‘Stranger Together’, the 11-track compilation will be released via Remotif’s Familiar Strangers label and features contributions from artists including Ciel & Robertol, Maara, Dylan Forbes, VÉRE, Alphonse, DJ Life and more, alongside Remotif himself. You can hear Bristol DJ and producer Manami’s contribution to the comp, ‘Sunbeams’, below.
Stretching from phat, proggy house and techno into deep trance-y bangers and breaks, this is a collection of eyes-down rave cuts for an excellent cause, with100% of profits going toward providing uprooted families with tents, clean water, sanitation and other basic necessities.
‘Stranger Together’ will be released tomorrow, 25th February. Pre-order it here.
