New York’s Olive T will release her new EP, ‘Goin Up’, via Bouquet Records in July.
The DJ, producer and Lot Radio resident, who featured in our monthly emerging artists feature last year, makes her label debut with two original cuts of classic, thumping house. The EP also comes paired with two remixes from South African producer Tiro! and Matt Karmil, who put their own distinctive spins on Olive T’s ‘90s inspired grooves and melodies.
As New York dancefloors begin to open up, ‘Goin Up’ is a perfectly primed vibe-resetter, from the chiming disco influences on ‘This Is A Bop’ to the deep house pulse of ‘Opaque’, which you can hear below.
