Premiere: Skream ‘Poison’

Skream has been having quite the year. Having mixed ‘Fabriclive 96’ back in January and with a huge schedule of club and festival slots taking up most of the past six months, 2018 has arguably been the DJ/producer’s biggest year to date. Just this week for instance, he joined Eats Everything to play a live streamed set in London’s Natural History Museum. He also recently joined us at DJ Mag for a pretty terrific HQ set.

Now, Mr. Oliver Jones is back with a track you’ve probably heard played out by some of the biggest names in the UK scene and beyond in the past few months. ‘Poison’ is set to drop on Alan Fitzpatrick’s We Are The Brave on 13th July and is a perfect fit in the label’s catalog of big-room techno.

The track is unhinged and propulsive, its cavernous beat embellished with a distorted vocal sample and chaotic, wiry synthesisers. We expect to be hearing this everywhere for the foreseeable future. It also comes paired with an equally ferocious remix by Fitzpatrick.

You can pre-order 'Poison' here.
