Los Angeles-based producer and DJ Yaw Appiah will release a new EP, ‘Nangu’, tomorrow.
The emerging artist follows his recent ‘Before Transition’ release, which featured guest appearances from vocalists Bunny Smalls and Lee McKrazy, with three cuts of deep, vibey Afro house. From the tender pianos of opener ‘Yimi’ to the organic percussion and guitars of ‘Ukudala’, the EP conjures a lush atmosphere while holding a steady pulse. You can hear the mood-building title track below.
Speaking about the release, Appiah said: “What’s life without creation? Let’s continue to celebrate the gifts and talents we’ve been blessed with by giving back to others and honing into the things that matter. This is me - cheers to creating and building a community of music lovers all around the world.”
