The Red Hot Chili Peppers ficially have their iconic guitarist John Frusciante back in the band.
Just hours ago, the group made an ficial announcement Flea‘s Instagram account. They are “parting ways” with their guitarist the past ten years, Josh Klinghfer — who was Frusciante’s replacement when he left in 2009.
The band welcomes Frusciante’s return “with great excitement, and full hearts.” After all these years, it seems they are happy to be together again in proper form.
In the statement below, Flea also expresses great gratitude for Klinghfer’s decade-long run — for the “countless gifts he shared with us.”
