A lot producers work with a lot singers work with a lot writers, but it’s always clear when people work well together because it comes through in the quality their work. The new song “Traffic Light” from Rival and ORKID is a prime example.
The two might as well be in an actual duo together at this point, because it seems like this collaboration happened seamlessly. In fact, Rival and ORKID have more collaborations planned for later in the year, which doesn’t surprise me at all.
Conjuring up memories early Ellie Goulding, ORKID’s silky smooth vocals pair like a fine wine with Rival’s delicate and deliberate production. The Swedish and German pair, respectively, certainly have a wonderful chemistry if “Traffic Light” is any indication.
