Skrillex has released a new album, 'F*CK U SKRILLEX YOU THINK UR ANDY WARHOL BUT UR NOT!! <3>
The record features collaborations with Varg2™, Wuki, 100 Gecs' Dylan Brady, Jónsi, Starrah, Boys Noize, G Jones, Naisha, LOAM, swedm® and more. The opening track is titled 'SKRILLEX IS DEAD'.
'FUS' should fulfil Skrillex's "final project" for Warner Music Group subsidiary Atlantic Records and begin his shift towards working as an "'independent' artist", a move he shared in a series of posts on X in November 2024. "I'm thrilled to get this out and focus on more releases in '25 as an 'independent' artist", he wrote at the time. "But 'independent' is such a strange term because I still depend on my team as well as all the other creatives and executors to do what I do... But now I’m able to rethink/relook at how the structures are designed. I want to find ways to simplify decimating music and art. I see lots of artists in a constant panic."

After releasing his two comeback albums, 'QUEST FOR FIRE' and 'Don't Get Too Close', in 2023, Skrillex shared a number of collaborations in 2024 with the likes of Boys Noize, Ahadadream and Priya Ragu, Varg²™ and Bladee, Hamdi and TAICHU, Headie One, Fred again.., Champion, Four Tet and Naisha, and Loco Dice and Fireboy DML.
