Manila Killa dropped his debut EP a month ago (minus a day), including the song “Wake Up Call” featuring Mansionair. Your EDM initially described it as “sad and wistful, yet beautiful,” and that sentiment is carried over within the new remix out now from Slow Magic.
The original st and sultry tune gets a more gritty interpretation from the masked artist, with a bit more emphasis on the drums in the drop, as well — as is expected from an artist who employs snare drums live on stage. Still, the wistful nature especially is preserved and its dreamy influence persists.
Slow Magic has truly outdone himself with this one. And, we hear from a little bird that there might be an ficial collaboration between the two in the works…
