The Sabres Of Paradise have reunited with plans to play a series of live shows in 2025.
The gigs will mark their first shows in 30 years, and the first will take place at next June's Primavera Sound festival in Barcelona. Further dates will be announced in the coming months.
Writing on Instagram, the group said: "This will be our first show since 1995 and we are going to make it something special. The band would also like to say that the reason we have reformed is to help cement the legacy of our dearly departed brother Andrew Weatherall, a true visionary and musical genius who we miss everyday and we hope we do him proud."
The Sabres Of Paradise formed in 1992 as a three-piece consisting of Weatherall, Jagz Kooner and Gary Burns. They released three albums and several 12" singles via Warp Records before splitting in 1995.
Weatherall passed away in February 2020 at the age of 56. You can read DJ Mag editor Carl Loben’s tribute to him here.
