Claude VonStroke has built a real arsenal club tracks over his long tenure in the game, and today we’re flying back to the early days Dirtybird Records with the anthemic Who’s Afraid Of Detroit.
Released on his 2006 album Beware Of The Bird, the track was coined one dance music’s biggest tunes the year by , and upon first listen you understand. This extremely catchy club gem was arguably the track that stamped Claude on the map, and at just over 6-minutes in length, this synth riddled, haunting house cut remains as impressive 12-years on from the day release.
Obviously Claude was onto something with this, as from here on out Dirtybird Records soared onto huge success, singing artists such as Justin Martin, Shiba San and more recently, Australia’s own Fisher. Revisit Who’s Afraid Of Detroit below and don’t be afraid to give it a spin on the weekend.
