Tim Reaper, Mantra and Decibella announce collaborative FABRICLIVE EP, ‘Sage’

Tim Reaper, Mantra and Decibella have announced a collaborative EP on FABRICLIVE.

'Sage' is due to land on 17th October. You can listen to the first single, 'Charades', below.

The four-track EP represents the second joint effort from the UK jungle trailblazers following a previous outing on Reaper's Future Retro London in 2023.

Speaking about the process of creating the release, Rupture LDN co-founder Mantra said: "Writing music with Ed [Tim Reaper] and Sophia [Decibella] is all buzz and no ego," added Mantra. "The focus is slamming ideas down quickly whist making sure the tune doesn’t evolve unless all three of us are connecting to it - having total freedom to stop the tune at anytime and change direction if that’s what’s needed. No one gets offended when their idea isn’t quite running and we roll with whoever has the strongest idea at the time for the tune."

"It’s such a rush and I always come away feeling so high and inspired after our sessions," she added, remarking that 'Charades' takes its name from her and Decibella's "interpretive dancing" in the studio. "It’s a privilege to share a creative space with two artists I respect so much."

It's a sentiment echoed by Decibella, who said: "Personally I can’t make music or DJ B2B with just anyone - it requires a genuine connection, and that’s why our collaborations feel particularly special to me," said Decibella. "Every session working on the EP left me feeling uplifted and inspired, and further influenced my solo work. We had so much fun making this record! I have immense love and respect for both of them."
