URBANO- Standing Ovation
Miami Music Week has been known to inspire loads new music. The Winter Music Conference has also been known to help cultivate a collaboration or two. This is exactly what happened in 2017 between the brother and sister duo URBANO and talented producer AJ DeMarco.
URBANO, is comprised John and Marisa Urbano, who are a sibling duo from the suburbs Philadelphia. They have an interesting dynamic going on, as John raps all the verses, and Marisa sings the hooks & bridges. They’ve performed at Miami Music Week’s Winter Conference in 2017, the DJ Expo in Atlantic City, and have even charted on Billboard‘s Dance and Club charts. With their newest track ‘Standing Ovation‘, they hope to continue this trend.
‘Standing Ovation‘ is a trappy, pop-infused club banger. This is one those tracks you would expect to hear peak-time at your local night club. It has everything you would expect from a radio hit. The track features some serious bass, catchy vocals, and witty lyricism. There are times you might get a DJ Snake-esque vibe from the track, as it includes a Hindustani sitar influence. With its top-notch production, punchy percussion, and dance-inducing drops, it’s easy to picture ourselves getting loose to this. I’m sure we’ll see more this to come.
