WATCH: Diplo, John Mayer, Ellie Goulding & More Do The #BottleCapChallenge

The #BottleCapChallenge is taking over the internet right now, as A-list celebrities and athletes show f their best roundhouse kicks. The latest to join in on the action — Diplo, Ellie Goulding and Henry Fong.


The original video and challenge was started up by Instagram user @farakicks, a European taekwondo champion. The craze has since taken f, especially thanks to John Mayer‘s viral video, which has racked up over 4.5 million views and counting.

Ellie Goulding is using her killer kicking technique and platform to spread a message — “STOP USING PLASTIC BOTTLES SUCKERS,” her video is captioned. While the challenge started f simply as a fun display athleticism, she and others want to kick the use single use plastics.

Henry Fong’s roundhouse doesn’t look too shabby either. “Made my mma coach teach me this right before so I didn’t look like a total idiot,” he explains in his video caption below.

Diplo could use some work. Still, his video is “evidence” he can “do karate.”
