Season 3 Stranger Things is out this Thursday, and you know what that means… that’s right! What So Not has finally, ficially dropped his remix the show’s theme, created by S U R V I V E.
This is one remix that’s been teased out for years, dating back to 2016, not long after the show’s first season aired on Netflix. In recognition, celebration, anticipation — whatever -tion you want to call it — the show’s third season, What So Not has dropped his remix the song without warning. He even teased it would be out “soon” all the way back in July 2017.
The sound takes us back to Flume-era What So Not, with wide soundscapes and immersive production that envelopes you and lulls you into a trance-like state. It’s hard to think anyone who could have given this omnipresent theme a more fitting tribute.
