“I met Herizen] on a writing camp in Nicaragua,” What So Not shares on how they linked up. “Soon after we met up in LA. She was in a bit a state & belted out this refrain over some chords I used to be enjoying, first take. It was a really actual second. We caught it & ran with it.”
“I’d been listening to loads Dilla,” he explains. “Did some easy drum programming and performed in textures and riffs on a Nord. I stored the manufacturing gentle & lush centering the music across the lovely & haunting vocal.”
