Manila Killa dropped his debut EP 1993 earlier this year, including the retro pop hit “All 2 U” featuring Sara Skinner. Now a couple months after the EP’s release, Covex gets his hands on the single for a completely new vibe.
The retro pop and guitar vibe is replaced with a heavily melodic bassline and pure EDM synth sounds, but at its core, Covex still maintains the original’s spirit. Whereas the original has a definite rock feel to it, with the rolling drums and pumped up tempo in the climax, Covex really keeps the more EDM vibes strong.
