Released as we speak via Four Music is ‘Starting Fires,’ a soulful quantity from producer Stavros and the sensible Alec Chambers. The latter dazzled with ‘Closure’ and has been collaborating with writers like Sarah Nagourney and Will Simms.
We have the premiere this three way partnership. There is an uncut really feel to it, however melodic focus is assured, due to its surging use each piano and drums. Its vocals are a considerate reflection on love and relationships, with Chambers saying: “Starting Fires’ is a contemporary strategy to a ‘love the gone unsuitable’ tune. He can’t overlook her and needs to make a dramatic try to get his lady’s consideration.”
