Russian g-house duo VOLAC have started a fire in collaboration with Phlegmatic Dogs. Their Russian Style Compilation makes way for their native sound — and full-fledged tour sure to burn up dance floors for the rest the year!
One particular production, “Tell You” has captured our attention through VOLAC’s own unmistakeable style. The track centers around feel good energy, as the duo pumps out their bubbling groove and tripped out synth work. “Tell You” is a driving force, with addictive vocals destined to stick in your head and gritty, untamed basslines built to make you move.
As an ode to their homeland, the Russian Style Compilation — stylized РАШН СТАИЛ] — features ficial artwork in the Cyrillic alphabet. Not to mention the music that perfectly exemplifies the Russian approach to the bass house. The impact VOLAC and Phlegmatic Dogs have on the current house scene is simply undeniable, and this EP embraces that notion.
Night Bass, a label dedicated to garage, bassline, grime, house and everything good in-between, makes for an instinctive home — for this track and the entire EP. The Russian Style Compilation Night Bass features four brand new tracks from VOLAC and Phlegmatic Dogs. Two originals and two remixes.
