Entering late into the Halloween mix race is Zeds Dead! One my first times seeing the Canadian duo was at HARD Day the Dead 2013 when they played atop a massive haunted house, so I have no doubt they can throw down a spooky mix along with the best em. Thankfully, I didn’t have to listen very long to have my suspicions confirmed.
This is easily one the spookiest mixes the holiday, with “Monster Mash,” “Devil’s Den,” a “Thriller” mash up, the duo’s own “The Twilight Zone,” and more, including 1788-L’s new remix the Halloween theme song. Track selection is only a part the game when it comes to presenting a certain vibe within a mix, but Zeds Dead have it down to a science.
