ZHU is back at it again with a brand new single in honor of his ‘YEAR OF THE DOG’ capsule collection.
“Jet The Doberman,” which follows his remix of CamelPhat and Elderbook’s “Cola,” seems more Halloween-appropriate than anything and showcases a hodgepodge of sample choices, including an interesting cut from ’90s film Shakes the Clown. Sinister melodies, trap-styled brass hits and hard-hitting drums show ZHU flex his experimental side for a result that seems reminiscent of 2010-2014 era trap.
The track was dropped in honor of his brand new merch collection, available now through February 26th. The limited edition drop, which is already beginning to sell out, features bomber jackets, prints, hats and more. Check it out here and listen to “Jet The Doberman” below.
