ZHU Releases New Project, ‘Ringos Desert Pt. 1,’ Announces Fall Tour

ZHU is making major moves this year!

The multifaceted musician has released a brand new project, Ringos Desert Pt. 1, which consists of seven brand new tracks, including the previously teased “Desert Woman.”

Inspired by the desert, a place where one finds solitude and loses their inhibitions, the brand new release is the first installment of a larger project that is set to release later this year. R&B scorcher “Still Want U” and emotional closer “Save Me” demonstrate his downtempo tendencies while tech banger “Desert Woman” and dancehall-tinged “Burn Babylon” stand out as the more energetic cuts on the collection. The project features guest appearances from Australian singer/producer and What So Not collaboration JOY. and Jamaican singer Keznamdi, as well as added production from Karnaval Blues and Daniel Wilson.

ZHU has paired the brand new release with the phase one announcement of his DUNE fall tour. The 21-date North American tour kicks off in Chico on September 7 and includes stops in Los Angeles, Brooklyn, Toronto and more before wrapping up at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on October 26. Fans can expect the performance to transcend typical ‘dance music’ shows with ZHU bringing out brand new stage production alongside his live band.
