A few months ago ZHU sent out a cryptic tweet a phone number. Of course, I bit and called the number. Soon I found out I was signed up for a text newsletter and was thanked with a preview his new release. That would go on to be his enigmatic last EP, Ringos Desert Pt. 1. After that, I mainly forgot about the text newsletter, until the end last week.
I received an ominous text:

TICKET REQUIRED FOR ENTRY
The text went on to explain how to secure tickets. It piqued my interest but living in Texas, I am not about to fly to LA, to then drive 3 hours to the middle the desert. Even if this sounded like a once in a lifetime event. Today footage his set from the Joshua Tree in the middle the Mojave surfaced on YouTube and it is downright deliciously dark.
ZHU is ramping up to the release his next EP. From the amount music we heard in this dastardly set, we know it is going to be downright excellent. Check out the set below.
