Robyn‘s still got it! The singer might have fallen radio silent on us for years, but she’s back and amazing as ever!
Just over a week ago, Robyn dropped “Missing U,” her first song in eight years, which she says is a message to her fans. Days later, she graced the stage for BBC Radio 1 in Ibiza to perform her new single for the very first time in a shining comeback performance at Balearic Island’s Café Mambo.
She also took this special performance as an opportunity to sing some old favorites, “Dancing On My Own,” “Call Your Girlfriend,” and “With Every Heartbeat.” And she never skipped a beat.
Robyn recently her lengthy absence to BBC Radio 1’s DJ Annie Mac: “I wanted to make an album in 2014 but I really didn’t know what to say… finally I got back to writing and I did travelling, I went clubbing, I went to therapy, I just explored.”
The songstress was most active between 1995 – 2010 and her voice has been deeply missed ever since. Hopefully this means she has even more music in the works.
