Today’s Electro-Dance Music is Reviving the Club Scene Among Millennials

For decades the club was easily the go-to place for a guaranteed good time, that is until a new challenger came into the mix and drew young people away from the dancefloor, to the comfort of their own home. There’s no denying the impact social media has had on the nightlife of major cities. For many, it serves to fill the void of wanting to connect with others.

Consequently, it is making an increasing number of people between the ages of 18 and 30 stay in rather than head out for a night on the town. As crazy as this might sound to some, it’s not like the club is without it’s imperfections. Waiting in line just to have the bouncer tell you that the place is “at capacity”, or the seemingly endless stream of club goers who still haven’t learned how to hold their liquor are just a few reasons why someone might want to keep the line up, grab their best blanket, and Netflix and chill.

Despite its shortcomings, the club isn’t without its charm. If the 2018 Spielberg movie “Ready Player One” taught us anything, it’s that nothing beats the real thing.  Even though clubbing might be on a decline, it is deeply ingrained in the culture and won’t ever disappear. For those who still enjoy the appeal of loud music, crowded dancefloors, and bottle service, there are a few artists out there who are inspired by the club atmosphere and make music specifically for the late nights, smoky dancefloors, and VIP sections. Newcomer to the scene, Neela, does just that with her new track La La La.  It’s artists like her who remind us that music has, and will always be the backbone of the club and decade after decade will keep drawing the crowds back.

Check out the track for yourself below and get back in line for that club already.
