Big Miz will release a new EP later this week.
Following a recent collaboration with Bodega and a remix for Bklava, plus releases on Shall Not Fade and Dixon Avenue Basement Jams, the Glaswegian DJ and producer — real name Chris McFarlane — has teamed up with Scottish singer/songwriter Georgia Cécile for a belated summer anthem in the form of 'A Dream'.
Built on a foundation of Miz's signature, off-kilter synth pads, Cécile's lyrics about the stars, white wine and tanned skin glide effortlessly over the strange melodies and classic house keys.
On remix duties, Ayr's in-demand Ewan McVicar steps up for a "Rough Cut" mix, transforming 'A Dream' from terrace staple to hypnotic house roller.
