EDC Las Vegas Tents Sent To Bahamas for Hurricane Victims

Tents from Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas have been repurposed and sent to the Bahamas to shelter storm victims.

Back in May, these tents described as “advanced shelter systems” housed thousands festival goers attending EDC Las Vegas. Now, these same tents are providing protection for families who lost their homes during Hurricane Dorian, a category 5 storm.

The Love & Life Foundation in Florida inquired about the tents and the company that hosts EDC was happy to step up for the cause. Approximately 750 tents were soon shipped out from Insomniac Event’s warehouse in Las Vegas to Grand Bahama and Abaco islands.

Insomniac founder and CEO Pasquale Rotella said:

“Insomniac strives to bring happiness to millions people around the world. When we got the call to help with this relief effort, we didn’t hesitate.”

It’s so awesome to see EDC making a difference. We need more these types stories.
