HARD Summer 2019: Arrests, Hospitalizations, & A New Attendance Record

HARD Summer Music Festival went f over the weekend at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana — and the numbers are in.

According to a report, this was the biggest event in the California city’s history. HARD Summer 2019 drew in more than 170,000 attendees across two days, August 3 & 4. For comparison, HARD Summer 2018 had an estimated 155,500 attendees.

Music enthusiasts came from all over the country to see headliners Kid Cudi and Major Lazer. Plus, performances from Dillon Francis, Alison Wonderland, RL Grime and many, many more.

The event saw just 11 arrests for various reasons: public intoxication, drug possession, battery and theft. Considering the massive crowd HARD Summer brought in this year, arrests were rather minimal.

Fifteen people were taken to local hospitals over the weekend. According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, related conditions included heat exposure, dehydration, injuries, and drug/alcohol consumption.

Additionally, a number attendees parked in the area surrounding the venue reported damages and theft.
