Acclaimed singer-songwriter, producer, and director, Mohammed K. Paika, opens up about his last two singles “Love” and “For The Rest Of Our Lives.” Both tracks have garnered millions of views and earned the Albuquerque native a new set of achievements. Sharing his genuine and romantic side with the listeners, the musician sings about eternal love that can only be seen in movies.
When talking about “Love,” Paika reveals that the song is very close to his heart and was filmed in the city that he and his wife were married in. “We usually visit Albuquerque, New Mexico to meet our relatives, but this time our trip was focused on reflecting our passion for each other and re-exploring some of the iconic spots in Albuquerque, which include areas of Old Town as well as the famous Sandia Peak Tramway,” explains the award-winning singer.
“For The Rest Of Our Lives” also highlights a major milestone in their marriage. “It speaks about the qualities and characteristics of my beloved wife, who is also a remarkable mother. The song was composed from scratch with her thoughts in my mind reflecting our life and story together. Since it was a song specifically made for my wife, it was quite easy for the words to flow out while writing the lyrics,” admits Paika.
Following the lead of iconic legends like Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, and Michael Jackson, Mohammed Paika integrates his Eastern and Western influences into his songs. Thanks to his diverse knowledge of music, the producer also gets inspiration from internationally renowned musicians such as Ahmad bin Ali Al-Ajmi, Mohammed Rafi, Kishore Kumar, and Fairuz.
“Love” and “For The Rest Of Our Lives” will be followed by another romantic ballad titled, “Hold Me Tight.”
