New Study Reveals The Average Cost of A Night Out

The average night out costs approximately £70.56, or $86.76, according to a new study out the UK.

This includes pre-drinks, transport, food, drink, and entertainment for the night. Plus, whatever cover there may be. Spending habits such as these are believed to be disposable income, rather than impulsive.

Of the 2,300 people surveyed, 60.8% report going out at least once a week. Before going out, 58.5% have a rough idea what they want to spend and 21.3% refuse to keep spending once they hit their limit. At least 89.0% people budget themselves in some way.

When it comes to going out, the majority people spend money at the pub, at 28.0%. A collective 32.3% spend money at bars and clubs.

The main reason for going out is to meet up with friends, followed by escape, celebration, and music.
