London artists angelicaa and First Circle have collaborated on a new EP for Edited Arts. ‘angelicaa FC’ will be released on 18th March, and you can hear the track ‘Simpsons Sky’ below.
Across five tracks, First Circle’s atmospheric productions blend elements of drill, atmospheric breaks, and emo, while angelicaa’s drawled vocal delivery and sardonic lyrics cut through with an addictive sharpness. Imagine the ecstatic brashness of new rave, plunged into a dark, pre-dawn comedown living room, melting into the couch and doused in smoke.
